How To Consign With UpScale Plus & UpScale Princess
It’s simple really: in-style, in-season, clean and on hangers.
Not enough detail for you? Here’s some more help:
In style means from the last few years. Most of our customers are working women who want to wear newer styles. In season means our current acceptance season. You can check our home page or call us for our current season guidelines (303) 420-5423. Clean means items are freshly laundered or dry-cleaned. Leave the dry cleaning tags in your garments. On hangers, means items aren’t sitting in bags or boxes, but hanging wrinkle-free.
Accessories: The ideal are better brand purses and wallets of real leather or other natural fabric. Scarves and hats must be silk or other natural fabric.
Call us for a convenient time to come in.
Thanksgiving or Christmas week are not usually good drop-off times. We begin accepting Christmas holiday items by November 15.
An existing consignor may drop off without an appointment. Items need to be in-style, in-season, clean and on hangers.
Here’s how it works
We charge a small fee to set up your account. Your first time only, you need 20-25 pieces which are in-style, in-season, clean, on hangers and ready to be priced.
We pay you a percentage of what we sell the items for. Prices are determined by our customer base. We price them to sell. The consignment period is 61 days. Unsold items are donated to Family Tree, a local, non-profit organization. We will provide you with a donation list upon request.
What to Consign and When
Below we have made some suggestions as to what items sell best during which seasons. Suits with skirts, dresses, and clingy fabrics are not very popular with today’s working woman. Heavy fabrics are also not popular as so many of our customers are “hot bodies.” Matching separates, items with personality, Cherry Creek brands, light weight fabrics that can be worn year-round, in new condition, and spotless will sell the best for you.
Denver has become quite warm in comparison to past years and weather does determine our acceptance dates. Think like a customer. What is she looking for and buying now? If the weather is warm, she is looking for light weights in the season’s colors.
We know that you would like to bring us everything from your closet, but we have to make our best judgement call as to what is currently selling. This becomes our guideline on acceptance dates. Call us to set up a time.
Transitional pieces that can be worn year around can come in when we are in between seasons. Choose light weight fabrics in fall colors for transition to fall. Choose light weight jewel tones for transition to winter. Choose long sleeve pastels for transition to Spring. Choose short sleeves for transition to Summer. Call for help!

Our current customers are paramount in what we accept during any season.
We cater to our customers, help them match outfits, provide them with a positive atmosphere to help them look their best. If we can’t accept some of your items, it is because of customer preferences.
Don’t have 20-25 items? - you can become a “MINI CONSIGNOR”
If you have only 10-19 pieces, we pay a bit less and don’t mail a formal inventory. Items are inventoried in our computer the same as a full consignor. The rest of the guidelines apply: we charge a small set-up fee, the consignment period is 61 days. Unsold items are donated.
Fewer than 9 pieces, ask us about our Store Trade Program. We call it a Cookie Box Credit and we give you store credit the same day you bring your items in. Items have more value to us if they are in-style, in-season, clean and on hangers.
